RN EMERGENCY ROOM
Coordinates total nursing care for the patient by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department. Being ready to respond and equipped to deal with a medical emergency. Quickly assessing patient needs. Treating critical injuries, allergic reactions, and trauma. Performing minor medical operations. Cleaning wounds.

As an ER RN, you will work in a fast-paced setting with patients requiring urgent treatment due to a life threatening medical condition, illness or injury as well as patients with less serious conditions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records
- Administer medications to patients and monitor patients for reactions or side effects
- Record patients' medical information and vital signs
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT
Registered Nurse License
BLS and ACLS certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification,
National Institutes of Health (NIH),
2 professional references.
